Back to Miyako hotel, to take the airport bus. Its impossibly expensive to take taxi to airport here and need to make a reservation in advance regardless of whether you’re taking the bus or narita express.
Ipod died for good this time a few days ago, so going to be a lonely trip.

needed to stay home in the morning due to deliveries (really miss home internet). Hardly saw any shop that’s open in the commuting hour, so it was good to try. A winner.

shirokanedai, social norms
Christmas tree in the lobby of the apartment. Christmas day is not even a holiday and the number of christians in this country is supposedly very minor. But it feels as if this is a kind of national festival. Is this purely commercially driven? There’s no supply where there’s no demand, no? Then what kind of psychology is this phenomenon really about? Are japanese simply more capable of easily empathising with the fantasy world?

First time to see a customer in the shop. In fact it was so small that it was very intimidating to go in.

The shop in the triangular building was a restaurant that opens late. Saw the owner (an old lady) dozing off in front of tv in the shop the other day. One of the views from apartment. My goal in language learning is set: socialize with her.
