shibuya
it rains very OFTEN here. so i got to accumulate the generic white
simple umbrellas from the local convenience stores. and obviously i am
not the only one.
a different approach to transcend the usage of a not-so-cherished object.

JR (japan railway) is the big power to attract many other businesses
to join - meaning that users can not only use it to pay for metro
tickets but also at other participating shops. benefits - lighter
commitment (card can be purchased and charged at JR metro/train
stations) and setup overhead than credit card based wallet solutions.

shibuya
Had to transfer at shibuya on the way back to hotel. Stood right next to the entrance for ~20min enjoying watching the flood of people passing by. Being outside of the strong current of people, some people do cross the normal definition of personal space- ample opportunity to have a close look at the faces of shibuya girls with makeup overdose.

On transit to a workplace in the morning. Hachiko exit is prob the most abused part of visual tokyo. The visual impact comes partly from the crossing that condenses people and release them at once. Very different from most other parts (non-central) in the city.
