its probably my age - most of my acquaintances are dedicated to

something they nurture nowadays. responsibilities can guide. love

might let you persevere. i realize i’ve come to an era that i can rely

on my responsibilities.

the cat hospital my sister’s cats go to often takes care of

injured/sick stray/street cats. the sad part of the story is - lots of

sick cats are discarded by their owners after they are taken to the

hospital. a big contrast to those persians that were taken to the

hospital for ‘beauty care’. this cat had back injury which caused the

lower part of the body (rear legs) paralyzed.

to make the best out of sunday, we decided to take the cats to the

hospital for the regular checkups. but first, we failed to take

’summer’ into the carrier cage - he’s a big (5kg & very tall) & fast

cat and obviously very smart about NOT wanting to go to hospital, so

we had to give up. Tim, a rather smaller & younger & subsequently

naive cat - was taken to the hospital and had kidney ultrasound &

blood test. Poor thing had to go through 3 attempts to get some blood

out of him.

it wasnt a sunny spot -

unlike all the other cats i saw on sunday,

this cat looked like meditating on that spot (or it was a chasing gaze

at the fish in the pond)
