Very unexpected to end up here, at this time. Not quite enough time to meet friends on monday, daytime. Choice was still quite easy: would you stay in the domestic airport with no lounge access for 7hours, or would you enjoy the sunny city for 3hours?

i am quite impressed at how calm people were in dealing with personal
situations associated with missing the connecting flights due to the
delay of our flight. new yorkers?
we changed the aircraft. still dont know what was wrong with the other
one, but at least i got to nyc!
The closing plenary of chi 07 left many with the feeling that something was missing. The slide show running on Flickr left on the side screens didnt catch people’s eyes as self-running presentation as part of the talk. Could it have been an experiment on the psychology of group reaction and interaction? Must’ve’en.
Considering how hummers stand out in tokyo, it does look relatively natural to see cars like this here.
