Heated toilet seat – as many would expect in hotels in tokyo. This model has the controller as a separate device. Its super pleasant to sit on a warm toilet seat. Washing part is, i guess, subject to personal preference. However, it took me about 30 sec to find out how to flush.

sound lady

A crude version of ‘sound lady’- plays flushing sound for 20sec when the button is pressed. The light indicates the elapsed time. Observation: 1) seeing the remaining time can be very stressful- feels like i gotta hurry up before it stops. 2) since this is the low tech version which has only one sound, the toilet space as a whole is flooded with flushing sounds all the time, which is not pleasant.
