i hope it turns out edible… lots of missing ingredients. the
japanese versions of jut-gal (’shiokara no zuke’ in japanese, a kind
of fish sauce) i could find in my neighborhood was so different from
korean ones, so i ended up skipping it completely.

its probably the most beautiful flower i ever saw. pity that i have
never seen it before last sunday. the packaging of the flower is
really charming as well (note the color coordination of the green

There are different days of the week to collect certain types of garbage. In big apartment building, its taken care by the janitor (hew.. So that i dont have to remember all those days). For collection, the janitor seems to take the whole container out like this.
Another thought- so many red prints! I wonder if these signs are off-the-shelf.

while i liked the package of a different kind of green tea, this was
supposed to be the very fine tea from this company ‘ippodo’. from a
nice 20-minute souvenir shopping in the train station in kyoto.
