useful?

magazine ad for N93.

is thinness really a trend? i met no one who can explain why they want

a phone which is thin. yet its a strong ‘trend’ driven by many

companies. it is true that its an ultimate tech showoff.

in china – i hear korean manufacturers are considered to be cool -

they succeeded in creating this high end image. i think i could

understand why.

pictured is the samsung mobile ad featuring the popular korean movie

star (jihyun chun), comparing a range of 3 thin phones.

i wonder which segment she’d belong…

cant wait to be back in tokyo..

but now prepared to leave for the airport and have a telco in the taxi

on the way – i hope:

the taxi wouldnt stink

the taxi driver wouldnt turn the radio too loud (chinese radio shows

can be really really noisy, i learned)

the taxi is new enough so that i can close/open windows freely

and finally! social dance club.

something i really cant place it in my mental map of sports. mostly

mature ladies playin.

the paddle ladies are holding seemed quite versatile. people play ball

games with it, and this group is using it in a group dance/aerobics.

some playing a traditional musical instruments, some practice singing.

i havent had a chance to consult with any of the local experts – but

at this point, i started to wonder if government actually encourages

these people to do something with their free time in this place.
