1 courier package. you dont want the portfolio (whichever material its made of) to be damaged during delivery, but think about the experience of the person who opens it. Having to use force to take the content out trying not to damage the content feels bad and too much folded paper makes it difficult to read.
2 multiple parts. it will be circulated, especially when you’re good and reviewers are not likely to make a special package to store all parts of what you have to show to be together. Make a self-enclosed pack that is easy to view and re-pack.
