there are still many variations – some taxis in tokyo have navigation
systems now which work with exact addresses. however – the way this
works (based on my experience so far) requires the following steps:
1) customer getting into the taxi, trying to communicate the address
2) driver starts to understand that i am going to use the address for navi
3) driver realizes that he has to move away from the part of the road
where the passenger was picked up, so starts to drive anyway
4) driver finds a spot where another short period of parking would be
allowed. and asks the address again.
5) passenger takes part in the address input process – as it takes a long time!

tuesday weather.
on my way to pick up my flight tickets to korea. surprisingly i
managed to book the flights on monday.
