short curtains, and ghost
2005.12.02 - 15:12Thought things were standardized, so ordered the longest curtains in muji. Looks like it could be a bit longer.
Leaving the apartment, i saw the family (probably) of the deceased conducting a ceremony with someone wearing a priest-like clothing. In korean culture, the meaning of such a ceremony would be something like wishing the spirit a farewell and good rest. It is also to say ‘please dont stay in this world of the living’, since there’s a belief that ghosts of those who died unhappily with unresolved wishes remain in human world and sometimes, do harms.
Thanks to this, now i even know where it happened- looked like a good choice with comfortable grass and bushes. I wish well.
