Flu-ish, finally. Fighting the drowsiness, i took a look at the gym schedule. Man, why dont they just use english alphabet for english words? Locals also need to learn what (the hell) all these mean anyway.
Examples:
- ba-re-e-su-to-re-(tsu)-chi
- ma-(tsu)-to-pi-ra-te-(i)-su
- ba-shi-(tsu)-ku-u-(o)-ku
- bo-de-(i)-ko-n-de-(i)-tu-(yo)-ni-n-gu

One way to say: dont make any nail holes on the wall- each space in the apartment has ‘picture rail’. Designated place to hang your fav posters, pictures, t shirt, whatever.

shirokanedai
First time to see a customer in the shop. In fact it was so small that it was very intimidating to go in.

Lesson of the day: get a dictionary (i have, but its in transit). Get a japanese keyboard or at least the copy of keyboard layout. Otherwise all too peaceful.

Dont know how to describe this in english, but was glad to find this during the local grocery exploration on sunday. Its a sweet drink made from rice. Korean version tends to have the rice grains maintain their form, but this seems to be made all milky.

A lively business w 20 persons on duty at all times
Can provide a receipt
from the pile of junk mail i went thru, these two very similar ‘notes’ were found. The order of common junk mail was something like 1 newspaper subscription 2 dry cleaning service 3 food delivery 4 garbage collection center (to get rid of big stuff) 5 moving company 6 misc shop ads- beauty salons, furniture, etc.

The key critical crucial essential reason why this phone is not usable for me:
No search function in english in contacts
Got ~400 names in contacts. Cant stand scrolling down this long list each time. The list sorting is done by ‘birthday’ or ‘reading’ (reflecting the local needs, i guess). The search is done by ‘2-touch’, ‘reading’, and ‘phone number’, of course on a separate screen. The ‘reading’ field is all empty for me cuz all my contacts are in english- no intelligence of using the name fields for search. Cant blame the local manufacturer too much for this, but Ahhhh.
