I had a secret hobby of reading a few pages of chick-lit or popular fictions (those that take 0 brain power to turn the page- or something that replenishes the gossip deficiency around here) at the bookstore after gym. I found that a book i had read about 150 pages so far was gone, sold. Time to quit.

Doing-nothing, thinking-nothing picnic. And a happy finnish picnic basket- the lady who sold this told me that ‘its handmade by my husband’. Gosh, how special is that?

art, friends

a great piece of art given to me as a present- a picture of me attending holi party, righteously soaked in colors, eating kolfy w bang, lit up with blinking lights. seeing a glorified picture of me is a peculiar feeling. i think i’ll like this a lot for a long long time. a brilliant curating work by ceo artist aditya!

To wrap up the day, I found a note saying ‘lost keys?’ posted on the suspected spot. Hew.

..Raphael! For some reason, i thought i might have left a spare key in the office. Thank god & raph, my faint memory was right (all keys look the same here but this one is for sure the current one since there’s this tag)! A tense experience today. I even made a stranger who shared the corporate taxi w me to call up my janitor who does not engrish.

Since the strike is still on going, there’s no catering service on board (though lots of people are actually glad at that for short-haul flights). Suprisingly, the crews brought brown shopping bags full of these white packages, and started to hand them out before takeoff. Its a packed food bag filled with not-so-healthy stuff such as pringles, a muffin that lasts forever on the shelf, cookies. As a consequence, my neighboring seats were quickly filled with crumbs- created by innocent attempts to eat them by two small kids.

To heathrow airport and its nearby countryside (some may call it london out of convenience). Like it was not enough for one bad 24-hour cycle, i left my key wallet at/on/near trash door this morning. I realized it right after the door was shut close behind me. What shall i do? A flight to catch- no guarantee how i would get back in the building. So i took the taxi. Going thru options i had in order to avoid having to find a hotel room late tonight when i come back, i had to send out some early/rude messages. Looking up the landlord’s number was quite dramatic: had to go thru my messaging inbox for the past few months.
