I recently heard the news that one of the siamese cats that i lived together with in california passed away. Being a lonely person in the human world, the owner was totally devastated. Coming back from 1-month’s absence, i noticed my electric tooth brush no longer works. I used it since 97, so its nothing suprising. But its still not a familiar experience to lose something that you took for so granted- even though it was just a cheap, lifeless electronic thing. Instead of trying to revive it, i went out to check the evolution its family came to. And bought one boasting more features. Only if we can control finding replacements.
