experience economy

Sunday morning, a planned brunch at cafe ekberg to catch with magazines and read the book i recently started- in a bustling yet cozy environment to keep me cheerful. Then while i was reading this article on newsweek, a devil in disguise appeared out of thin air: a continuously shrieking kid. It was almost like a scene at scary movies. The parents seemed to have took notice (duh!) and TRIED to leave the place after their obvious failure to stop the girl, but they lingered on nearby. What a nerve-racking 10 min. I thought helsinki tax included a small guarantee to protect me from such an environment. Anyway. I couldnt agree more to the points made in the article. Soon clean air and serenity will be added to the hottest list of commodities money can buy for city-dwellers.

An interesting point, I think something about that is really frightening, but I agree.

exists already? houses that do not allow pets or children? anyway, people like us without children have this strange vacuum around us that attracts children. breeders flock around us. same thing with cigarette smoke. non-smokers have a vacuum in their head that sucks in passive smoke…
