After the meditative berry picking. I tried to last without washing hands, but swimming naturally washed it away.

Its the season! After work, we went to the nearby forest to pick up wild blue berries, enjoy the nature, swim in the lake (naked, if you want), and sauna. A luxury only finland can so easily provide.

Mint chocolate ice cream packed for space travelling. It was almost like powder when opened. After one day it became clay-like substance due to moisture in the air. Care for the mental health, i assume.

My colleague, our flower of the office, likes to live underwater as much as he can.

I never hear any sign of human life from my neighbors- except when the mobile phone vibrates upstairs.

Helsinki is hosting ‘World championship of athletics’ or something in the early august (i hear this made flight tickets to/from finland sold-out). A tribute (art piece?) on a bakery. On the podium are a finn, a swede, a dark-skinned person with unidentified nationality. * during my brunch, someone kindly followed me with a bottle of cinnamon to my table to show that real finns always garnish the porridge with it.

Sunday morning, a planned brunch at cafe ekberg to catch with magazines and read the book i recently started- in a bustling yet cozy environment to keep me cheerful. Then while i was reading this article on newsweek, a devil in disguise appeared out of thin air: a continuously shrieking kid. It was almost like a scene at scary movies. The parents seemed to have took notice (duh!) and TRIED to leave the place after their obvious failure to stop the girl, but they lingered on nearby. What a nerve-racking 10 min. I thought helsinki tax included a small guarantee to protect me from such an environment. Anyway. I couldnt agree more to the points made in the article. Soon clean air and serenity will be added to the hottest list of commodities money can buy for city-dwellers.

The lid of my colleague’s laptop. It’s a dell, one of the standard big corporate provided machines.
