Arranged a night’s exploration of creative taste mix. Some great combinations we tasted with rice that day: - fried vendace + mayo + tar sauce (finnish) - chicken + cucumber + peanut butter + onion chip (dutch) - asparagus + garlic sauce (brit-italian?) - roast beef + horseradish sauce (brit) - fish roe + crab stick + cucumber (vietnam-french) - bacon + fried egg + ketchup! (blackbelt jones) - smoked salmon + fish roe + cucumber - spicy tuna - apple + cucumber pickle (french) - parma ham + cantaloup (french) - parma ham + ruccola + roasted pine nut - artichoke heart + tomato + ruohosipuli (forgot what’s in english, chive?) Quite a mix, huh? We were all so full at the end of the night. Taste overload, for sure. And i realized later i didnt even use 5% of stuff i prepared for the rolls cuz everyone came so well prepared..
