hate overly friendly buses
2004.05.07 - 00:05There’s a small residential island between epsoo where head office is and helsinki. Took a wrong bus today, and it goes around the island street by street, stopping at each block. It took 30 more minutes to come to helsinki for the distance which normally takes 5 min with other buses. Why a public service needs to be so caring for small user groups all of a sudden? Perhaps it should operate with a warning saying: ‘dear non-resident to the island: if you want to hurry out of our island, please dont take this bus (walk instead)’.
Sometimes, if you don’t need to hurry, it will be nice to take a bus that you don’t know anything about it. Maybe it can be very exciting experience can give you another view point of your surroundings. Take your time. ^^;;
